What led you to start your business?
The gap I was seeing in the nonprofit sector and among small businesses. In my experience, I kept coming across organizations who couldn’t provide key information needed to operate their businesses successfully. Being interested in impact and results, questions like how many lives have you touched this year through your programs or how do you measure the success of your small business, were going unanswered. As entrepreneurs most times we focus on creating a product and getting out to market, but rarely take the time needed on the back end to ensure the operations and logistics are all aligned.
What kept/keeps you going during challenging times?
A passage I read from Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The story was shared about Mohammad and how his first 10 years were filled with ups and downs, poverty, no influence, and he was banished from his native city, etc. but in the next 10 years he was dictator of Arabia, Ruler of Mecca, and the leader of a new world religion. So my motto has become, “what if today is the day?” What if I don’t push through and this is the day my million dollar client wants to connect with me. What if today is the day everything changes to where I’m on top! I don’t want to miss that opportunity.
One lesson you’ve learned during your entrepreneurial journey:
Stop comparing myself to other entrepreneurs and what they are doing; it robs you of joy and distracts your focus from building your company.

When a client sees progress because of a plan we developed together.
