Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs
“She believed she could, so she did.”
According to a report commissioned by American Express OPEN, as of 2013, it is estimated that there are over 8.6 million women-owned businesses in the United States, generating over $1.3 trillion in revenues and employing nearly 7.8 million people.
The Savvy Woman Blog wants to celebrate some of these women entrepreneurs who are our friends, our neighbors, our sisters. They began their adventure into entrepreneurship for many different reasons-flexibility, financial freedom, passion, or just to live the life they want.
In their profiles you will get a glimpse of their lives as entrepreneurs…their challenges, what about their business brings a smile to their faces, lessons learned, the story on why they started their business, and of course the most important questions of all-their favorite chocolate.
I trust that reading through their business profiles will bring a smile to your face, will perhaps encourage you to begin the adventure of entrepreneurship yourself, or will offer you the opportunity to use some of their services or purchase their products.
They Believed they Could, So they Did…and So Can You!
